What detours do you face?
There is an Islamic seminar coming up. The topic is important and you’d love to attend. You think you could squeeze it into your schedule, but you’re worried that a whole weekend at the seminar will derail your focus from school. You think to yourself, “I have my whole life to study religion, I need to focus on school right now…”
Your mom is on your case about getting married. She keeps reminding you how old you are and that ‘time is running out.’ You kindly explain to her that you’re not a carton of milk, but she doesn’t seem to listen. The situation has soured you from the entire process.
You’re fresh out of school and thinking about paying off your student debt so you can stop paying interest. You’re also starting to enjoy not living like a student anymore.
